Nursery - Deen City Farm trip- Group 1  

Dear Parents/Carers,

Re: Nursery trip to Deen City Farm 

This term’s topic is ‘Legendary Beasts and Curious Creatures’ and we have been learning about different animals and minibeasts. To further children’s knowledge and to celebrate our learning, we will visit Deen City Farm and have a self-guided tour. The children will be able to see and feed different animals and learn more about them.

Trip details

Group 1: Tuesday 12th May 2026

We will travel from school by minibus. We will spend an hour at the location and return to school via minibus. The minibus will leave at 10am and will return at 12pm.

Trip cost

The cost of the trip is £1 per child and we are asking families to contribute towards the overall cost via ParentPay. These trips rely on voluntary contributions from families to cover the overall cost as well as your support to make them possible – please note that if we are unable to secure sufficient contributions, regrettably the trip may not go ahead. With this in mind, if you would like to contribute more towards the trip, then this would be very much appreciated. If you have any questions about payment, please speak to the school office.

Things you need to know

AM parents will collect at 12pm as usual

Full time children will have lunch as usual when they return to school.

School uniform and sensible shoes should be worn on the day. 

We have a limited number of spaces for parent volunteers. If you are able to volunteer for the morning, please inform the class teacher and select the option on the consent form.

If you DO NOT wish for your child to feed the animals please inform your child's class teacher.
