Key Stage 2 Sports Day
Dear parents/carers of children in KS2,
This year our Key Stage 2 Sports Day will take place at Wimbledon Athletics Track, Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Park Road London SW19 6PE from 10:15am to 2:00pm on Thursday 20th July.
We will be departing school promptly at 9.10am and travelling by train and tube (or bus and tube if the train is not running). Your child will need a packed lunch (no nuts or glass bottles please).
If your child is entitled to free school meals and would like the school to provide them with a packed lunch, please indicate this on the consent form below.
We will travel back the same way and will arrive back at school at 3pm when the children will be collected as normal at the end of the school day. However, if you join us at the track, you’re welcome to take your child directly from there. If you do this, you must ensure the class teacher is aware before leaving with your child. If someone else is collecting your child, this must be in writing and given to the class teacher prior to the day.
Please ensure your child arrives at school on time wearing their PE Kit, including trainers. Please also ensure they have a rain coat and sun hat and apply sun screen in case of unexpected changes in the weather. It would be great to see all children wearing something in their house colours (t-shirt, shorts, headband etc.). House colours are as follows:
Wimbledon: Green
Twickenham: Red
Lords: White or Yellow
Wembley: Blue
Parents are welcome to attend the event to cheer their children on.
We also require a number of parent volunteers. If you are able to volunteer for the day, please select this on the consent form and the class teacher will inform you directly, if you are needed.
