School Journey - October 2025
School Journey for children entering Year 6 in September 2025
As you know, we have arranged for our current Year 5 children to have the opportunity to go on a four night residential activity course to a JCA Adventure Centre called Condover Hall in Shropshire. The trip will take place from Monday 13th to Friday 17th October 2025 (shortly after the children enter Year 6).
This year the school are delighted to be able to offer a significant contribution towards the cost of the trip for every child taking part. This is in recognition of the challenging circumstances we have all faced over the past few years. We are desperate to ensure that every child has access to this amazing opportunity.
The total cost of the trip is £500 per child. Sellincourt School and its governors have approved a £200 subsidy for the trip, meaning the cost per child is £300.
The cost includes full board accommodation, transport from the school to the centre and return, insurance, all instruction and activities, equipment & safety equipment, evening activities programme, achievement certificates and comprehensive insurance.
Please note that if your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium then you will be eligible for a further one off grant of £100 towards the cost of this trip.
To confirm a place for your child, please complete the consent form below.
After completing this form, you will then receive information on how to make your non refundable deposit payment of £50 via ParentPay. Please note the deposit must be paid by Monday 2nd December 2024 in order to secure the booking. However, if it is not possible for you to do so within this time frame or finance is a barrier please come and speak to us. We WILL be able to help.
Further payments will be scheduled in instalments following receipt of your deposit.
