Year 3/4 Trip to Butser Farm

Y3/4 Trip to Butser Ancient Farm on the 11th June

This half term, our topic is ‘Rock Your World’. In science, we will be exploring properties of rocks and in history we will be learning about the Stone Age to the Iron Age.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Stonehenge could not go ahead. However, we have found an amazing opportunity for the children to participate in more activities relating to all three time periods (Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age). The children will visit Butser Farm, Hampshire, PO8 0BG and take part in 4 different activities ranging from jewellery making to becoming archaeologists during an excavation.
