Year 5 and 6 Science Museum Trip
Re: Year 5 and 6 trip
Dear parents/carers,
During the summer term, each class will visit The Science Museum to learn more about our solar system in our 'Is There Anybody Out There?' topic. This trip has been arranged in place of the previously mentioned trip to Greenwich Royal Observatory.
The dates for the trip are as follows:
5M- Tuesday 3rd June
5R- Tuesday 24th June
6TW- Wednesday 25th June
6M- Wednesday 25th June
We are reminding families to please contribute towards the overall cost to the trips this academic year via ParentPay. The trips rely on voluntary contributions from families to cover the cost as well as your support to make them possible- please note that if we are unable to secure sufficient contributions, regrettably the trip may not go ahead. With this in mind, if you would like to contribute more towards the trip, then this would be very much appreciated. If you have any questions about payment, please speak to the school office.
On all trips, please ensure your child is suitably dressed for the weather (coat, waterproof jacket, hat etc.). They will need a packed lunch (no nuts or glass) and a water bottle. All children are entitled to a free school meal and will therefore be provided with a packed lunch from school as per your previous choice.
To provide permission for your child to attend this trip, please complete the consent form below. If you are able to help on the day of your child’s trip, please speak to their class teacher and select this on the consent form.
Many thanks,
Miss Waugh
